Product Summary (Draft-1)

The article “Video - The New Fleet Telematic Killer App” introduces a road-facing camera that can be installed in the user’s vehicle that serves multiple purposes. From basic dash cams functions to detecting driver’s behavior as well as recent road traffic accidents that happened in the vicinity of the driver’s location.

There are functions that triggers the camera to start automatically or in a predetermined interval in order to protect the user’s privacy. Videos recording will then provide drivers with “post-drive coaching” to further improve their driving performance.

The camera also has facial tracking properties allowing it to detect the driver’s fatigue and distraction as well as provide driver with real-time notifications, giving drivers feedback such as visual and audible alerts and vibrations to focus the driver’s attention back on the road thus preventing potential road traffic accidents.

  1. Good day Ching Wei,

The way you described the application is interesting and direct. The product functions and benefit are well evaluated. Also, you touch on each of the other points required for the product summary with quite a bit of detail.

The way you tried to paraphrase is not so noticeable as it feels like you are just copying right from the website. For example, “Videos recording will then provide drivers with “post-drive coaching” to further improve their driving performance”, can be “Videos recording will equip drivers with”post-drive coaching” to enhance their driving skills.

In conclusion, we find your product is what the future are looking forward to as accidents now are increasing so this application will be useful. I hope we will get to use this application in the near future.
